DALLAS HEADSHOT PHOTOGRAPHER
I am a Dallas-based headshot photographer, creating better headshots for professionals who want to put their best foot forward.
If you are looking for flattering, professional headshots, I am here to help. I can’t promise to bring out every aspect of your personality, but I will swear to make you look pretty. (or handsome if you prefer!)

Working with me is super simple. I create a nice atmosphere for you so you feel relaxed. There’s no pressure during the shoot–just a few simple snaps showing who you are.
You can see the raw images at the end of the shoot. Then, I will edit them a bit (if needed) and send them to you digitally and in other formats as necessary. Your face will be clear, look professional, and have a nice background behind you. And the best bit? You can use these photos anywhere.
Daniel is fantastic! I had to do a headshot for work and I was dreading it. He made me feel so much more comfortable with the whole process throughout, plus he listened to what I wanted and the concerns I had. The shots turned out great and with a quick turnaround--just a few days! I highly recommend Daniel.
So, stop avoiding getting your headshot done. Use me, Danial Motta, and see just how professional you can look in a modern headshot.
See My Work
I get it. This is all very exciting, but you want to see results.
Don’t worry, you can view my headshot portfolio here and browse dozens of different faces across industries.
With me, you can choose your background, style, and frame, or let me do it for you. I capture your likeness in a flattering style while staying true to your overall professional appearance.
You deserve proper photographic representation, whether as a freelancer or as part of a global organization. So hire me, and let’s see what we can do together. I think you’ll be happy with the results!
Headshot Photography For Powerful First Impressions
The main purpose of my headshot photography is to create powerful first impressions. I want people to see your face and say, “Wow, that person is really something!”
With a proper headshot, people see you as authentic and approachable. You take on an air of authority, yet they feel comfortable with you. You seem confident, friendly, interesting, and perhaps even honest. You look smooth, relaxed, smart, and ready to deal with their problems (whatever they are).
This ability to create unique headshots is why so many people recommend me in Dallas. It’s what I do.
Attention To Detail
Part of the success of my headshot photography is my attention to detail. I’m someone who can’t stop tinkering until it’s right. (I’m sure you know the type!)
But I don’t just do it to be annoying–it’s so you get the best results. I want working with me as your headshot photographer to feel like a brand new, refreshing experience.
Capturing the best headshot requires more than pressing a button on a digital SLR. It bleeds into everything that goes into constructing the image.
For example, I believe lighting matters (as most photographers do). Many people have negative experiences with headshot photography because photographers get this step wrong.
Lighting should illuminate the essential features of the face evenly. You shouldn’t look like someone shining a torch up from their chin, telling ghost stories on a campsite. The composition should be fresh and evenly lit.
Similarly, your background shouldn’t let you down. It should represent the business, your personality, or your professionalism.
Looking through my headshot portfolio, you will see that I vary the composition of my headshots depending on the subject. Lawyers and accounting professionals get deeply professional grayscale backgrounds, while more creative types benefit from colors and visual flair.
These differences may seem small, but they can profoundly affect how individuals perceive you or your team members. Subtle changes like these can be the difference between driving conversions and being left out in the cold (Don’t say I didn’t warn you!)
Posing
I also focus on the subtle (or not-so-subtle) art of posing. Getting your body position right is critical for creating a formal, effective headshot.
Posing correctly turns your headshot from just ho-hum to something extraordinary. You know all those body language experts who say that 90% of communication is physical? Well, I think they might be onto something.
That’s why I focus on getting your body position right. You won’t feel contorted, but you will feel like you’re stepping into a level of professionalism you didn’t know you had.
I guide you on posing correctly for corporate headshots, helping you create an even more powerful impression. However, I also make you feel comfortable and natural. I don’t want you to look wooden.
As you go through this process, you will be surprised by its simplicity. I share easy-to-follow directions with you, telling you what to do next, all while being my usual friendly self.
Posing works best when you pay attention to the key areas: the head, body, arms, chin, eyes, and torso. Putting these together helps you achieve the confident, assertive, professional look you want.
Expression
Did I mention that expression was important, too?
No? Well, that’s where I can help you again. Headshot photos succeed or fail on this point.
It’s okay to smile, but usually, corporate headshots keep the mouth closed. A serious expression is alright, too, as long as you work in a serious industry.
Ultimately, you want to express what your audience, customers, or stakeholders like. Ideally, your picture should fulfill their expectations.
Of course, our photography session isn’t a one-shot deal. We will play with numerous expressions, and then you will choose the one you like the most. However, with me, you always get something that suits your purpose.
Finally, on this point, I can help you if you don’t like smiling for photographs. Being around me is annoying because if there’s a happy expression inside you, I can always find a way to get it out. But don’t worry: it’ll look 100% natural–not forced at all.
pricing
For individuals, my pricing for a single retouched headshot is $250, and if you would like the rest of the headshots we captured un-retouched would be an additional $100. In total, you would receive 1 retouched headshot, plus all the high resolution jpgs from the shoot.
For businesses and companies, I offer a tiered pricing structure, so the more people you have, the better pricing you receive per person.
I don't have any hidden fees other than a 3% credit card processing fee. The pricing you see is what you get.
I also offer special pricing for tradeshows and conferences. For volume jobs, please contact me with your headshot requirements and I will provide a custom quote.
It was a great pleasure to work with Danny for new professional head shots. From booking an appointment, payment, location, communicating prior to my booking, price and service--Danny was outstanding.
Corporate Headshots
Regular headshots are useful for daily life. (You never know when you will need a nice picture of yourself.) However, my corporate portraits take this to the next level. These photos let you advance your career or show off your entire team.
I don’t take a conservative approach to this service. Just because it is corporate doesn’t mean it should be dry. I like giving these photos an edge (if that’s what you want) or following the standards set by your marketing department.
You can also use me to take group photos. I ensure everyone looks their best, bringing your team together.
Outdoor Headshots
Depending on your business, you can hire me for outdoor headshots. Here, I use the natural environment to emphasize approachability while generating dynamic images with stunning backgrounds.
Outdoor headshots give a sense of prestige and beauty and often provide exceptional backgrounds that show you in context.
Studio-Adjacent Headshots
Studio-adjacent headshots are another of my fortés. I combine controlled lighting with natural elements to give you a balanced look.
Studio-adjacent headshots are convenient for busy professionals because they are mobile but amenable. If natural light isn’t perfect, these can fill the gap.
Natural Light Headshots
My natural light headshots produce a softer, more authentic headshot. I aim to give you a true likeness with these so that people who haven’t met you can recognize you.
Natural light shots are best when they harness ambient light. These produce authentic portraits that inspire.
Trade Show And Conference Headshots
I also provide comprehensive trade show and conference headshot options. I don’t care how many people work at your organization–I’m here to help you get the job done.
I can work at one station, performing headshots, or have several up and running. I process people at a rate of around one every three minutes, meaning I can get through a team of over 200 people in a morning.
Daniel is great. My team used him for professional headshots. Most importantly, the pictures turned out well. Beyond that, he is extremely communicative and has a very user friendly system to book, pay for, and receive his services. Overall, the experience was super easy! Highly recommend.
I can ensure consistent headshot backgrounds for in-house conferences. I can also adjust headshots to reflect rank or other positional markers.
What about branded headshots? I’m glad you asked. I do these as well, adding an extra dimension that’s ideal for conferences involving companies or, indeed, clients.
Taking headshots for trade shows and conferences can feel complicated, but I perform all the admin. You don’t have to send anyone to manage it.

common headshot questions
Here are a few common questions that I receive on a daily basic regarding headshots.
Schedule Your Headshot Photography Session
Is it time you scheduled your headshot? If so, I recommend hiring me. (I would say that, wouldn’t I?)
But I am serious. My approach always generates incredible results, even if you usually despise headshots.
You can start exploring if you want to use my services by looking through my portfolio of regular and corporate headshots. Then, if you’re happy, pick a style you like–something that reflects your personality or a brand you represent. After that, pick up the phone and discuss my availability. It’s as simple as that.
If you’re unsure, check out my pricing page (discounts are available for larger groups). I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Remember to bring your professional outfit.
